This morning's tea session with #MameFuji a #maiko training to become a #geiko – the true geishas in #Japan who give up living a typical modern lifestyle to go into training at specialised schools from the age of 16. They only exist in #Kyoto and it is extremely rare to have a chance to meet these women – even for a Japanese local, you have to have some sort of connection to arrange and agree to a meeting. Thank you @jomalonelondon for a truly amazing cultural trip to #Japan #Jopan
